Our latest GA DIGS brings us to the Echo Park home of contemporary Californian Artist, Ramsey Dau. Nestled in the hills of E.P. not far from the world Famous Dodger stadium sits Ramsey's home and studio. Growing up in LA, Ramsey's influences lean heavy into the subcultures that were formed right here. High concept mixed with satirical references and an excellent eye for composition creates his very own unique point of view. From hand done collages blown up times ten, to masterfully rendered african sculptures and Raymond Pettibon flyers, Ramsey's body of works spans centuries of cultural references that are equally visceral and meaningful.
